The Pluralist Certificate

Our mission is to integrate pluralist courses into regular study programs by using the possibilities of recognition and credit transfer. To this end, we disseminate information on current pluralist courses and create new, innovative educational opportunities. We advocate for self-designed higher education.

This is why we offer the "Pluralist Certificate". Over the course of three semesters, students are learning the basics of pluralist economics in three courses that can be credited with ECTS at their home universities. The courses have been developed together with experts and academics and include a policy-based simulation game (in German), as well as the online courses "European Macroeconomics" and "Feminist Political Economy". The first edition of the Pluralist Certificate started in the winter semester 2022/23 and offers these courses in a blended learning format.

The course material of the certificate courses is freely available on Exploring Economics and can be integrated in other teaching formats such as university lectures or events of student groups. If you are interested in using the teaching material or want to create material together, get in touch!
