This video of the science of thinking explains the famous dual process theory of Daniel Kahneman. According to him, the brain works with two systems: one for long-term memory, the other for working memory. 

This theory might explain, why students perform better at a test if the font is hard to read.

In this lecture, Konstantinos Katsikopoulos presents the concept of bounded rationality and contrasts two - as he calls it - cultures of research and analysis within Behavioral Economics: an "idealistic" and a "pragmatic" approach.
